Job Description
As a Housekeeper Manager at Ruths Hotel, you will get a central role in ensuring that our guests always experience the highest standards of quality and service. You will lead a dedicated team of housekeeping and service assistants and be responsible for creating a structured and efficient workday. With your attention to detail and strong oversight, you will ensure that all tasks are completed to perfection, and you are never afraid to pitch in when necessary. At the same time, you will have an important task in maintaining our high standards and contributing to the ongoing development of Ruths Hotel’s reputation.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Planning and preparing staff schedules and managing general logistics.
  • Delegating tasks to our housekeeping and service assistants.
  • Ensuring high standards in all cleaning processes and quality control of the hotel's facilities.
  • Administrative tasks such as managing inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Collaborating across departments and with management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participating in daily tasks when needed to ensure the hotel’s high level of service.

About You:

  • Have leadership experience and can maintain an overview, even during busy periods.
  • Have IT skills and can handle administrative tasks, including staff scheduling and logistics.
  • Are not afraid to pitch in and participate in daily tasks.
  • Have strong communication skills and can motivate and lead a team.
  • Are friendly, approachable, and good at collaborating with both guests and colleagues.
  • You live in or around Skagen, or are willing to relocate.
