Proud traditions and eternal development
In order to strengthen the ability to consistently fine-tune our level of service, we are looking for a charismatic assistant restaurant manager with overview, decision-making strength and an eye for detail and quality. As an assistant restaurant manager, you will be the manager on the floor, who must have a keen eye for opportunities to optimize service in close cooperation with the rest of the team. At the same time, you have a five-star service gene, and you love to create the best conditions and experiences for your guests.

In our critically acclaimed gourmet restaurant Okê, the ambitions are towering, and there is no compromise on the level of gastronomy and service anywhere. For well over 20 years, our French-inspired brasserie has been characterized by a lively atmosphere, where authenticity and, not least, taste quality are always in focus. In Ruth's Brasserie there is a full house every weekend all year round. In the summer season, our iconic terrace is also extraordinarily busy.


Our expectations for you

  • You work independently with a natural ability to inspire your team.
  • You have experience with the hotel and restaurant industry at a high quality level, preferably Michelin experience.
  • It is also crucial that you carry out the work with a smile and ensure that every guest feels welcome as well as well informed.
  • A natural ability to network and build relationships is also of great importance.
  • A common feature for both Okê and our brasserie is the guests' demand for wine of the highest quality. In that context, it is essential to have a natural interest in the selection and the development of the wine selection that we offer.


What you can expect from us

  • Ruths Hotel offers an exciting and varied year-round full-time position as assistant restaurant manager in a busy environment, where you get to put your own personal touch on the experience we offer our guests all year round.
  • In collaboration with the restaurant manager, you will be responsible for preparing wine lists and wine menus.
  • In addition, there will be various managerial tasks on an ongoing basis.


A little about us

Ruths Hotel is a reputable business with decent working conditions and a respectful attitude. In addition, we offer good pay and working conditions. We are a well-knit team of year-round and seasonal employees, both experienced trained waiters and sharp summer helpers. In the summer we often exceed 100 employees, in the winter we are around 50. We work efficiently, get on well together, and everyone helps everyone, regardless of field of expertise and experience.
